Tour Details

We'll meet at the designated time in front of Grower Memorial, and, once we're ready, begin to enjoy this guided tour of Stratford-upon-Avon.

We'll walk along the town's picturesque streets as we tell you about its history, from Stratford's origins to what life is like in modern Stratford.

You'll see the City Hall, a Palladian-style building that was built in 1767. In its interior, you'll find some preserved artworks, such as the paintings of Nathaniel Dance-Holland or William Hamilton.

Then, we'll stroll along the canal until we reach the oldest pub in the town. We'll also pass the Holy Trinity Church and, of course, the place where Shakespeare was born. Curious to know more about the playwright's childhood? We'll tell you about it here!

Finally, we'll say our goodbyes in front of the Royal Shakespeare Theatre after a 1.5-hour tour.
