Our food tour of Stockholm begins at the famous Östermalm market, located in the center of the city.
As we browse the market stalls, your senses will feast on the colors and smells of the different local products, and you will discover Scandanavia's gastromy in greater detail. You will see that there is a great variety of recipes that go far beyond the classic meatballs. However, we will try that dish of course. We will also succumb to the temptation of Swedish cheese.
We will also try pates of fish and seafood. This part of the menu will introduce us to the fishing heritage of Sweden's Baltic coast. Our tour then continues at the Kungsträdgården, and the Royal Garden, which is surrounded on all sides by numerous bars.
We will finish the tour in Gamla Stan, Stockholm's historic center, where we will enjoy a tasting of typical local sweets. The best-known of all of them is the polkagris, a stick candy of Swedish origin.
