Description

During the booking process, you can choose between the following options. All of them include pickup from your hotel and an exclusive English–speaking guide.

Historic center tour (2.5 hours)

We'll start by looking at the façade of the Royal Palace and passing by the Swedish Parliament building. This walk through the old town of Stockholm will take us to see its temples, such as the Riddarholmen Church and St. Nicholas Cathedral, where we'll learn the story of St. George and the dragon. We'll also walk along the narrowest street of the city, all while we discover the history and development of the city from the Vikings to its transformation into the capital of Sweden.

New City tour (2.5 hours)

This tour will focus on the contemporary history of Stockholm, its evolution and economic development. We'll walk through the neighborhoods of Östermalm and Normalm while we learn about the legacy of the Vasa family and the different stages of the Swedish empire, from its origins to its fall to Russia.

Södermalm tour (2.5 hours)

In this option, we'll visit the island of Södermalm. Better known as the Hipster Island, this area is famous for its bohemian atmosphere and its history, marked by the presence of writers, poets, musicians and actors. Södermalm is the largest island of the archipelago and has some impressive viewpoints that we'll walk by during this private tour. We'll also take the opportunity to explain how the Swedish welfare state, health and education work.

Combined tour (4.5 - 5 hours)

If you don't know which of the above options to choose, you can book the combined tour and combine two of the above itineraries, the choice is yours!
