Stockholm Christmas Tour
Tour Details
Christmas has come to Stockholm! We'll meet at Raoul Wallenberg Square at 3 pm and start a fun tour of the Swedish capital to get into the Christmas spirit.
The smell of the traditional Glögg wine, the illuminated streets, the spiced gingerbread biscuits... As it does every year, Stockholm transforms itself to welcome one of the most special and exciting holidays. We'll go to the old town and you'll love the decoration around its streets!
We'll pass in front of the Royal Theatre to learn about the story of Margaretha Krook, one of the most outstanding Swedish actresses of her time. The tour will continue through Normalmstorg Square and the famous Kunsträdgården Park. Take the opportunity to warm up with a delicious hot chocolate!
During the tour, we'll reveal some interesting facts about Swedish Christmas traditions, such as how Swedes celebrate Christmas Eve and the history of Julbocken and Donald Duck.
We'll also go to Gamla Stan, the historic center of the city, to see the largest Christmas tree in Stockholm. Did you know that this fir tree travels every year from the north of Sweden to the capital?
To end the tour on a high note, we'll taste the typical Glögg wine accompanied by gingerbread biscuits.
The tour will end at 4:30 pm at the Stockholm Christmas market, so you can explore it at your leisure.
