At the scheduled time, we'll meet at 21 Kungsbro strand and prepare all the equipment to start exploring Stockholm by bike. Are you ready?
We'll start pedaling and make our first stop of the tour in front of the City Hall, one of the most representative buildings of the city. After enjoying the beautiful architecture and the beauty of the inner courtyard, we'll continue the tour through Gamla Stan, where its medieval squares and Nordic style architecture stand out.
Throughout the bike tour, we'll discover that this means of transport is widely used by the inhabitants of the city thanks to its bike lanes, wide sidewalks and green areas. Afterward, we will pass by the Royal Palace of Stockholm, which today boasts a facade of Italian Baroque and French style with Swedish influences inside.
Next, we'll head to the Ridderholmen Church, a red-brick church that serves as the pantheon of the kings of Sweden. After a brief overview of the history of this Nordic country, we'll cycle to Djurgården, the world's first urban national park.
During the bike tour of Stockholm, we'll also pass the Vasa Museum, Prince Eugen's Palace, and the National Museum. Afterwards, we'll stop for a coffee and a sweet, a Swedish custom known as "fika".
Finally, we'll cycle back to the starting point and conclude the tour after a total of 3 hours.
