Explore a beautiful island north of Sardinia and its scenery on our Asinara Day Trip. We'll set off from Stintino and ride a jeep around Asinara's best sights, such as Campo Perdu and Cala Sabina.
Asinara Day Trip
At 9 am, we'll meet up at the pier of Tanca Manna and board a boat to sail to one of the most beautiful parts of Sardinia. Asinara Island awaits!
Around 50 minutes later, we'll come to the port of Asinara. When we get there, we'll hop into a jeep to explore the national reserve. During our tour, we'll discover this island's natural beauty and history as we admire its monuments.
We'll stop at different spots in Asinara to admire its idyllic landscapes, such as Cala di Mackerel. This is the narrowest spot on the island, and from here you'll be able to admire its geological formations known as the Dwarfs.
Next, we'll drive to the centre of Asinara and stop at Campo Perdu, a former prison that's been converted into a riding school. We'll then visit CRAMA, a sea turtle rescue centre, to learn about how the park's injured sea turtles are cared for.
After visiting CRAMA, we'll head to the Cala Reale. This spot served as a maritime station between the 19th and early 20th centuries. The next stops will be at Cala d'Oliva and Cala Sabina, where we'll find one of the most famous beaches in Asinara.
Having spent a fantastic day on the island, we'll return to the port of Fornelli and hop back on the boat to return to Stintino. We'll arrive back at the pier at 5:45 pm.
