Fly over the famous Preikestolen cliff, commonly known as the Pulpit Rock, with this helicopter ride from Stavanger. This is an amazing experience that you will never forget.
Preikestolen Helicopter Ride
At the time indicated, we'll meet outside the Radisson Blu Atlantic Hotel. From here, we'll head to the nearby Sola Stavanger heliport. We'll explain some basic safety rules and after the theory, we'll set off on our thrilling adventure.
We'll enjoy an exciting 30 or 60-minute helicopter ride, depending on the option you choose, which will give us a bird's eye view of the majestic Lysefjord (light fjord), Sola Beach and Stavanger Port. This breathtaking glacial valley which was carved by the erosion of the ice age is one of Norway's most iconic natural spots. You can see it all from the exclusive vantage point of the helicopter.
Hovering over this spectacular canyon, you'll also spot one of the principal natural attractions of the area, the famous Preikstolen cliff face, known popularly as the Pulpit Rock or Preacher's Chair. You may recognize this emblematic location from the famous Tom Cruise film, Mission Impossible: Fallout. This film made this Norwegian cliff popular by filming a helicopter scene here!
This helicopter ride over the Lysefjord and Preikestolen Rock finishes back at the Stavanger heliport. From there, we'll return you to your original collection point.
