My friend and I had a week’s vacation in Mexico City, but we are both anthropology hobbyists (read fanatics) and we also could not resist squeezing in a trip down to Malinalco where there is one of only three in the world archeological sites carved into the mountainside. We spent an engaging day with our knowledgeable and friendly tour guide Enrique, wandering the site, the pueblo, and the Augustine monastery. It was a treat that I highly recommend.
