Pancho was a great guide with lots of information about the plantations and the area. Mary’s restaurant in Barra was fantastic.
Francisco was a personable and knowledgeable guide who assisted us in our visit to the salt museum and the turtle reserve. He explained the process of making salt and organized our tour of the reserve to visit in the boat when the crowds were less. We were fortunate to have the opportunity to release a little turtle ourselves because the schools were closed and school kids were not available to do the release...that was a very cool experience. He also gave us some good tips about local shops.
