Discover one of Croatia's natural treasures with this trip to the Plitvice Lakes National Park - the lush green forests, deep blue lakes, and glistening white waterfalls will take your breath away!
Plitvice Lakes National Park Tour
After meeting at the indicated time at Obala Hrvatskog narodnog preporoda 21, Split, we'll set off on a journey inland from the Adriatic Sea coastline across the magnificent landscapes of Lika.
When we arrive at the Plitvice Lakes National Park, the first stop on the trip, we'll begin with a guided walking tour of the wooden walkways that connect the 16 different lakes, forests, waterfalls, and hills. Admire the spectacular beauty of this protected reserve, which UNESCO has designated a World Heritage Site - and for good reason. Marvel at waterfalls that cascade into deep blue natural pools that contrast with the lush green forests that surround them. It'll take your breath away!
Next, we'll enjoy a boat ride on the Plitvice Lakes followed by a ride on an electric train that will take you back to the entrance of the park. During the ride, your expert guide will tell you all about the area's fascinating biodiversity and Plitvice's native plants and wildlife such as brown bears, wolves, eagles, wild cats, and more.
Afterward, you'll be taken to a nearby town where you'll be able to grab a bite to eat. Following lunch, we'll make our way back to Split, where our day of exploring will come to an end.
