South Queensferry Walking Tour
At your chosen time, we'll meet at The Hawes Inn and set off on our walking tour of South Queensferry. Let's explore this town on the banks of the Firth of Forth!
As we kick off our tour, we'll discover the importance of the famous Forth Bridge. This bridge is one of the most important constructions in Scotland and in the UK, as well as being a World Heritage Site.
We'll stroll through South Queensferry and discuss some of the most important historical events that have taken place here. As we walk along the High Street and admire its colourful houses, we'll come to the Jubilee Clock Tower. This unusual tower was built in the 17th century and boasts a four-faced clock that was added later on to celebrate Queen Victoria's Golden Jubilee.
Next, we'll pass by the Priory Church of St. Mary of Mount Carmel. From here, we'll make our way to South Queensferry Harbour, where our tour will come to an end after 1 hour of sightseeing.
