Tour Description
We'll meet at the indicated meeting point in Sorrento at the indicated time and, once gathered, we'll start this day trip to Pompeii and Vesuvius. Depending on availability, we'll leave by train or minibus. Ready to set off on this adventure where history and nature go hand in hand?
Our first stop will be the Vesuvius National Park, which we'll reach by minibus, where we'll embark on a breathtaking hiking trail. Accompanied by our guide, we'll explore the landscapes of this world-famous natural monument.
Did you know that it's one of the most dangerous volcanoes in the world? We'll reveal the reasons why while we admire its impressive crater. We'll also get an extraordinary panoramic view of the Gulf of Naples, from the Miseno cape to the Campanella point.
Back in the minibus, we'll reach the Archaeological Park of Pompeii, to visit the forum, the baths and the lupanar of the small streets of the archaeological site. Did you know that the perfect preservation of all these areas is due to the ash of the volcano?
Once the guided tour of Pompeii is over, we'll return to Sorrento, again by train or minibus depending on availability, to reach the starting point and call it a day after a total of 8 or 9 hours.
