Caserta & Cassino
At the agreed time, we'll meet at the pickup point in Sorrento and hop into the vehicle. You'll be taken to Cassino to visit the Abbey of Montecassino, which is the second-oldest monastery in Italy.
Our next stop will be the famous Royal Palace of Caserta, which has beautiful gardens and rooms that we'll explore. To round off our trip, we'll stop at a restaurant in Caserta to eat some delicious buffalo mozzarella.
Avellino & Benevento
Once we've gathered at the meeting point in Sorrento at the scheduled time, we'll set off for Benevento. When we get there, we'll visit places of great historical and artistic interest such as the Arch of Trajan, the Roman Theatre, the Church of Santa Sofia, the Rocca dei Rettori and the Cathedral.
After our tour of Benevento, we'll hop back into the vehicle and drive to Avellino and see its famous Clock Tower and beautiful cathedral. You'll then have some free time to visit a local winery before we reconvene to take a guided tour of the Archaeological Park of Mirabella Eclano.
Salerno, Vietri, Maiori & Minori
Having met up at the scheduled time, we'll go on a guided tour of Salerno and head inside its magnificent cathedral. Next, we'll stroll along the city's beautiful seafront promenade before making our way to Vietri sul Mare, where'll find the imposing Church of San Giovanni Battista.
The day trip will then take us to Maiori, where we'll see the longest beach on the Amalfi Coast. Afterwards, we'll visit the fascinating Ancient Roman Villa in Minori. You'll then have some free time to eat lunch at your leisure.
