If you want to take care of your body and mind, do as the ancient Romans did! This circuit of contrasts in the spa of Castilla Termal Solares is inspired by the famous thermal baths of Caracalla.
Contrast Circuit at the Castilla Termal Solares Spa
The Castilla Termal spa is located in a 4-star complex in the Cantabrian town of Solares. At the beginning of the 20th century, this historic building became one of the most famous spas in northern Spain. This is your chance to discover this jewel of the Belle Époque!
The contrast circuit of Castilla Termal Solares is inspired by ancient Roman thermal baths, basing its architectural principles on the Roman Balnea. This beautiful pool is located under an impressive vault similar to that of the Pantheon in Rome, and the approach of the entire circuit follows the example of the legendary baths of Caracalla.
In groups of 4 to 6 people, you'll go through the spa alternating between wet and dry, hot and cold areas, thus purifying your body and ridding it of toxins and decongesting the respiratory system. You'll be led through a circuit of showers, steam baths, thermal pools, tepidarium, caldarium, dry sauna, and ice fountains, which will make you leave feeling completely renewed.
