At the appointed time we'll meet at Dolphin of Skopelos and start a comprehensive tour of the emerald island. Off we go!
We'll board a minibus that will take us first to the Pyrgos area. We'll cross the green hills so characteristic of the island of Skopelos and, upon arrival at our destination, we'll take a pleasant walk through olive groves, cypress trees, and, of course, Aleppo pines.
During this hiking route, we'll make our way to a vineyard where we'll learn all about wine production on the island, which appeared in the famous film Mamma Mia. Afterward, we'll return to the minibus and head to the city of Skopelos to visit one of its most emblematic spots, the Church of Panagitsa of Pyrgos, a picturesque temple located in the harbor.
We'll climb the stairs and admire the details of this 17th-century church while we take in privileged views of the Aegean Sea. A great spot for some photos! Afterward, we'll head to Panormos Beach, 12 kilometers (7.5 miles) northwest of Skopelos.
Upon arrival, we'll find a sandy cove located in a bay surrounded by a lush pine forest that will leave you totally in love. There you'll have free time to take a refreshing dip in its turquoise waters and you can have lunch on your own in a restaurant in the nearby town of Panormos.
Finally, we'll reconvene and return to the starting point, where we'll finish the tour after six hours of travel.
