Sintra Sightseeing Bus Routes & Stops
The Sintra bus tour follows 2 different routes:
- Orange Route: on this route, you'll be able to enjoy the National Palace of Sintra, the Castle of the Moors, Pena Palace, and Sintra's historical centre, amongst other landmarks
- Green Route: this route passes by the main points of interest in the historical centre, including the National Palace of Sintra, Monserrate Palace, Seteais Palace and the Adega Regional de Colares, and the National Palace of Regaleira. Throughout the route, you'll have impressive views of the hills.

How Does It Work?
The ticket is valid for 1 day from the first time that it is used. During this time, you can hop on and hop off the bus as many times which means you can easily explore locations such as Monserrate Park and São Pedro de Penaferrim.
When you make the reservation, you are requested to specify a start date for the ticket. There is a period of 3 months following this date in which to use the service. When you make the reservation, we will send you a coupon which you must print out and present the first time that you use the bus.
Timetable & Frequency
The hop-on hop-off service operates every day from Sintra's bus station.
- Orange route: This route operates from 9 am until 7 pm every 5 minutes
- Green route: This route operates from 10 am until 6:30 pm every 30 minutes
