We'll pick you up at your hotel in Sigiriya at 7 am. From there, we'll hit the road to our first stop of the day: Pidurangala.
Upon arrival, we'll start exploring this Buddhist complex while we tell you all about its fascinating history. Then, we'll climb up the mountain until we reach Pidurangala Rock, which boasts one of the best views of Sigiriya and the famous Lion Rock. Get your cameras ready!
After marveling at the stunning scenery, we'll descend again and take you to a restaurant area where you'll have some free time for lunch.
With your energy recharged, we'll continue with the excursion towards the village of Hiriwaduna to learn about the local lifestyle and customs. We'll even take a ride through the rice fields on an ox-drawn cart and cross Hiriwadunna Lake by boat!
The private excursion will conclude back at your hotel in Sigiriya, arriving at 5 pm.
