Delve deep into Hurulu Forest Reserve on this Jeep safari: get unimaginably close to wild elephants and discover more of Sri Lanka's wealth of wildlife.
Safari in Hurulu Eco Park
After picking you up from your hotel in Sigiriya at 1:30 pm, we'll set off on the road to the Hurulu Eco Park. Riding in a private 4x4 Jeep just for you and your group, our exciting safari will begin.
Having bought our tickets to enter the nature reserve, we'll go into the park itself and drive along the trails in search of the large population of wild elephants that inhabit the area. Hurulu Ecological Park is the perfect place to see these incredible animals, as it is in the migration zone between the Minneriya and Kaudulla National Parks.
As well as observing the herds of elephants, we'll enter the forests to look for another of the reserve's great stars, the leopard. Focus your eyes up to the branches of the trees and, if we're lucky, we may be able to see some of these amazing felines.
At the end of your three hour safari around Hurulu Eco Park, we'll leave the site and take you back to your hotel in Sigiriya for 6:30 pm.
