Sighisoara Guided Tour
Description
At the designated time, we'll meet at the Clock Tower Museum to start our fascinating guided tour of Sighisoara.
Vlad Tepes, Vlad III, Vlad the Impaler, Vlad Dracula... throughout history, this 15th-century prince of Wallachia has been known by many names and through many different legends. Which are true? Delve into the mysteries that shroud the Medieval ruler and his birthplace, the beautiful Romanian city of Sighisoara, on this guided tour.
We'll begin our tour walking through the historic center towards the old church, located on a hilltop that looks over the whole city.
As we stroll through the streets of the UNESCO World Heritage Site, our guide will reveal fascinating facts about the town's history and the secrets it hides. One of its main mysteries revolves around Vlad Tepes, and we'll pass by the house where this historical figure was born, learning why he was used as inspiration for Bram Stoker's legendary novel, Dracula, and investigating the vampiric mythology of the region.
The tour will come to an end near the Clock Tower, where the guide will recommend some of the city's top bars and restaurants so you can continue making the most of your time in Sighisoara.
