Corcovado National Park Excursion
Corcovado National Park Excursion
We'll begin our excursion to Corcovado National Park by meeting at 8 am at Sierpe's Pier, where we'll embark on a boat ride through one of the most beautiful areas of Costa Rica.
For an hour and a half, we'll sail through the landscapes of Terraba-Sierpe, the main wetland of Costa Rica. The trip will continue to the area of San Pedrillo, where we'll be able to see dolphins and sea turtles on the shores of the Pacific Ocean.
From San Pedrillo, we'll begin a hiking route through Corcovado National Park. During the walk through this protected natural area, which will take us about three hours, we'll admire different kinds of mammals such as monkeys, coatis and anteaters. We'll also see native birds such as tanagers and trogons.
Around noon, we'll take a break to recharge our batteries with a picnic lunch surrounded by nature that includes several local specialties. Following lunch, we'll continue our walk to the famous waterfall of Corcovado National Park, where you can take a refreshing swim.
After a nice dip, we'll return to the starting point of the hike. Then, we'll take the boat back to the pier in Sierpe, where we'll arrive at 4 pm.
