San Gimignano & Montalcino Tour
Meet us at 72 Giuseppe Garibaldi and we'll set off on the bus journey to San Gimignano. This enchanting town is a designated UNESCO World Heritage Site, and you'll recognise it instantly from the historic towers of its skyline.
After 40 minutes, we'll arrive at our first stop. You'll have 2 hours of free time to explore San Gimignano at your own pace. We recommend strolling through its narrow streets and admiring its picturesque squares, like Piazza del Duomo, where you'll find the Collegiata della Assunta di Maria, and Piazza della Cisterna, which used to house the medieval marketplace.
Next, we'll make our way to a local winery where we'll enjoy a tasting of the fine wines of the Chianti region, where wines have been produced since the 13th century. We'll spend an hour indulging in local wine accompanied by salami, cheeses, and other appetisers.
The tour will continue in the Orcia Valley, another jewel of the Tuscan territory and a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2004. We'll travel to Montalcino, whose hill overlooks the 1,500 hectares of Brunello vineyards that have contributed to the worldwide fame of this area.
Our last stop of the day will be a winery where we'll try some of the famous Brunello di Montalcino, one of the most exquisite and historic wines in Italy.
Finally, we'll drop you off back at the starting point after 11 hours of fun.
