Beautiful vineyards, exquisite wines and ancient bodegas await on our Chianti Wine Tour. You'll taste the most traditional drink from this region and visit Castellina in Chianti.
Chianti Wine Tour
After meeting at 72 Giuseppe Garibaldi, outside Hotel Minerva in Siena at 2 pm, we'll board a minibus and set off to explore the beautiful landscapes of the Chianti Valley. As we drive through the spectacular Tuscan countryside, we'll admire beautiful views on the way to our first stop.
Our experience will begin at the iconic Castello di Brolio, where we'll go on a guided tour of its gardens and attend a wine tasting session. We'll try 3 different wines accompanied by a selection of Italian sausage and typical brushcetta. Delicious!
While we indulge in this treat, we'll learn all about the process of wine production here and the stages the Chianti grape goes through before ending up as delicious glass of wine.
We'll then return to the minibus and drive to the town of Castellina in Chianti, where we'll visit one of its oldest wine cellars. Here, we'll have the chance to taste different varieties of wine from the Chianti Valley. We'll also eat typical local snacks and taste some olive oil too.
Our tour will come to an end back at the starting point in Siena around 8 pm.
