Eagle Canyon & Selge Ancient City Tour
We'll pick you up from your hotel in Side at 8.30 am and then head north to inner Turkey to visit the ancient city of Selge.
During our hour-and-a-half drive, we'll admire the exquisite landscapes of the Anatolian Peninsula until we reach the Eurimedonte River, where we'll make our first stop to rest and regain our strength with a delicious lunch consisting of salad, rice, and chicken.
There you'll have 45 minutes of free time to explore the area at your own leisure and have the chance to take tons of pictures of the beautiful scenery around the river. We'll hop back on the minibus and, after crossing an ancient Roman bridge, we'll reach our next destination: Selge.
For 40 minutes we'll explore the majestic Roman theater of Selge and uncover part of the Greco-Roman history of what once used to be one of the most important cities of Pisida. After that, we'll return to the road and stop at Eagle Canyon, where a pleasant half-hour hiking adventure will be waiting for us.
After an exciting day, and with plenty of pictures to remember it by, we'll head back to Side. We'll drop you off at your hotel around 4.30 pm.
