Private Tour of Shiraz
Don't let the colours of Shiraz deceive you: the city may be surrounded by expansive ochre-yellow desert, but its monuments make up for the monotony a million times over. You'll soon bear witness to its enchanting tones: having picked you up from your hotel at 9 am, we'll head directly to the jewel in the city's monumental crown: Nasir al-Mulk Mosque, also known as the Pink Mosque of Shiraz.
Inside the Pink Mosque, you'll be captivated by the way light shines through the multiple stained glass windows, creating magical illuminations. After admiring the mosque, we'll continue our private tour visiting Arg of Karim Khan, a historic citadel that has served as an imperial residence, a prison and a museum!
In front of the citadel is the Pars Museum. Its octagonal architecture may not be to everyone's taste, but just wait until you see the vivid colours and intricate details of the inside of its dome! We'll next head to the lively Vakil Bazaar, where you'll have the opportunity to do some shopping or to indulge in some local delicacies, sampling delicious typical Iranian foods.
Continuing onwards to the Naranjestan Garden, we'll enjoy a quiet stroll past its peaceful fountains and flowerbeds, before visiting Zinat al Mulk House, a former governer's house with striking interior decor. At the end of the tour, we'll drop you back off at your hotel in Shiraz at around 6 pm.
Tickets not included
This tour does not include entrance to the monuments visited. Depending on the season, the total price of these tickets will be around 750,000 Iranian Rials (approximately 18 US Dollars).
