Tour of Sharjah
Tour of Sharjah
Between 7 and 7:30 am, we'll pick you up at your hotel and start this tour of Sharjah, the vibrant neighboring city of Dubai.
We'll start our guided tour of Sharjah, known as the pearl of the Persian Gulf, by stopping at the Buhairah Corniche viewpoint. Here, you'll be able to photograph how the minarets of the Al Noor Mosque are reflected in Khalid Lake, one of the most famous sights of the city!
The next stop will be in front of the King Faisal Mosque, named after the former king of Saudi Arabia, a neighboring country of the Emirates. Then, we'll head to the Museum of Islamic Civilization, where we'll visit an outstanding collection of ceramics, coins, glass, manuscripts, gold and silverware, scientific instruments, and more.
After touring the museum's artifacts, we'll head to the old city to visit the Souk Al Arsa market and the Sharjah Heritage Museum. Its exhibition is dedicated to the local history, customs, and culture and is housed in a picturesque traditional Emirati dwelling.
Lastly, we'll visit the Souk Al Markazi shopping mall and then we'll return to your hotel, where arrival is scheduled for 12:30 pm.
Changes in the Itinerary
Souk Al Markazi is currently closed for renovations. Therefore, until further notice, this stop will be replaced by a visit to the Iranian market.
