At the indicated time, we’ll meet at Seyðisfjörður Harbour to embark on an unforgettable journey to the puffin colonies of Borgarfjörður Eystri. Our adventure will begin with a scenic drive through East Iceland, where we’ll traverse 2 magnificent mountain passes. Along the way, we’ll be treated to awe-inspiring views of the North Atlantic Ocean and the rugged beauty of the Icelandic landscape.
Our first stop will be at a panoramic viewpoint, offering breathtaking views of the North Iceland mountain range and the Atlantic Ocean. This is the perfect opportunity to capture the raw beauty of Iceland’s natural wonders.
Upon reaching Borgarfjörður Eystri, we’ll visit the enchanting puffin colonies. Here, you can observe these charming seabirds up close in their natural habitat. Our knowledgeable guide will tell us some fascinating insights about the puffins and the area's unique ecosystem.
Next, we’ll explore the mystical Álfaborg and Lindarbakki, often referred to as the Elves' city. Discover the legends and folklore that make this place so enchanting!
