We'll start this tour of the Casa de Salinas at the time of your choice at the entrance of this beautiful 16th-century palace. It's an old house located on Calle Mateos Gago, in the historic centre of Seville, just a few steps from the cathedral and the Reales Alcazares.
During the tour through the rooms of the Casa-Palacio de Salinas, we'll appreciate how the Gothic, Renaissance and Mudejar styles are perfectly combined. First of all, we'll access a beautiful hallway that will leave you speechless. We'll also observe the decoration of a Renaissance courtyard ornamented with plateresque plasterwork.
Another of the great attractions of this old house is its Roman patio. Here we'll contemplate an extraordinary mosaic of the first century AD. In addition, in this same place, we'll see a stone carving of the Virgen de los Remedios, while listening to its interesting details and history on the audio guide.
We'll continue our tour by visiting other rooms of the Casa-Palacio de Salinas, such as the summer dining room. Without a doubt, the summer lunches at the house took place in a spectacular setting.
Finally, after a tour of approximately 30 minutes, we'll conclude the guided tour at the entrance of the Casa-Palacio.
