Korean Cooking Class
Korean Cooking Class
Having met up at the indicated time at exit number 2 of the Jegi-dong Metro Station, we'll make our way over to Gyeongdong Market. Here, we'll begin our introduction into the most typical Korean delicacies, discovering the fresh produce and aromatic spices filling every corner.
We'll buy the products we need and head to the class, which will take place in a nearby venue. There, you'll feel like an authentic Korean cook. We'll put on our aprons and, together with the chef, we'll learn how to combine traditional herbs with seasonal ingredients.
Would you like to discover the secrets of Korean recipes? We'll do so while preparing different dishes and a variety of side dishes. Afterwards, we'll sit down at the table to taste our creations!
After 3 hours, our time together will come to an end.
Menu
The menu of the Korean cooking class in Seoul varies depending on the day of the week:
- Monday and Tuesday: we'll prepare bibimbap (a typical dish meaning "mixed rice"), a traditional pancake called kimchijeon and a seasonal soup.
- Wednesday and Thursday: we'll learn how to cook a typical noodle recipe called japchae, which we'll accompany with a kimchijeon pancake and a seasonal soup.
- Friday: we'll cook two kinds of kimchi (a traditional Korean pickled vegetable dish), boiled pork or tofu, kimchijeon pancake and a seasonal soup.
