Deoksugung Palace Night Tour

Having met up at the indicated time at the Daehanmun Gate of the Deoksugung Palace, our guided tour will begin. From this entrance point to the complex, we'll head to the Jeongdong Observatory, where we'll climb to the 13th floor to enjoy spectacular views over the Deoksugung Palace and its nightly illuminations.

We'll then enter the palace grounds and embark on a tour around its different traditional buildings as we learn all about its legendary history. The guide will reveal curious facts about the former royal residence as we admire the Throne Room and even enter the King's Bedchamber!

The Western-style Seogjojeon is sure to catch your attention during the guided tour of the palace. Doesn't it remind you of a Greek temple? Its neoclassical architecture provides an intriguing contrast to the traditional Korean structures throughout the rest of the complex.

Our night tour of the Deoksugung Palace will come to an end after 2 hours near the palace walls, where you can continue to explore at your own pace.

Simply excellent! Sally, our guide, was super friendly and spoke perfect English. We were just 2 couples and we were able to ask all the questions, she knew how to answer everything. The tour was great, we were supposed to be a group with other people but we ended having a private tour just for the two of us due to cancelation from the others. The guide was very interesting, sympathical and explain us a lot and was able to answer all of our questions. His english was very good, no problem of understanding at all. We loved this tour and are grateful to Alan for this super moment visiting Deoksugung Palace at night.

Es un palacio tranquilo que no recibe casi visitas de manera incomprensible porque es de obligada pasada por todo el patrimonio y peculiar situación que tienen ahí dentro. Spectacular. I did the tour with Sally. It is a quiet palace that hardly receives visitors in an incomprehensible way because it is a must-see due to all the heritage and peculiar situation they have inside. The guide's explanation was a 10. He explained the story and gave context to everything that was being seen in a clear and concise way.
