Segovia Guided Tour with Cathedral and Alcazar
Segovia Guided Tour
At the scheduled time, we'll meet next to the famous Aqueduct, one of the most symbolic monuments of Segovia. From here, we'll begin our guided tour in Spanish of the capital of this province.
Did you know that historians believe this to be the best-preserved Roman aqueduct in the world? It's more than 2000 years old and you can't miss it in the city!
Leaving this impressive work of architecture behind, we'll head to Calle Real, the main street in the city. Here, we'll see fascinating spots like Medina del Campo and Corpus Christi Squares and the Roman Church of San Martín.
In Plaza Mayor, we'll see what's known as the "Lady of the Cathedrals" for its huge size. We'll head into the Cathedral of Segovia to uncover this 16th century architectural gem from the inside. As we explore this building, we'll be amazed by the fusion of Gothic and Renaissance elements.
Then, we'll continue the tour towards the neighbourhood of Canonjías to arrive at our last stop of the day: the Alcazar of Segovia, one of the most famous fortresses in Spain. Want to know why? Come and find out!
After a guided tour of the Alcazar, we'll end this tour after 2.5 hours.
