Segovia Guided Tour
Begin this walking tour of Segovia from the base of the Roman aqueduct, the city’s most emblematic landmark and one of the best-maintained elevated aqueducts in Europe.
Follow your guide down calle Real, Segovia’s main thoroughfare, to discover the Mirador de la Canaleja, a viewpoint with privileged views over the San Millán neighborhood. Then, head to the Casa de los Picos, a house with a striking façade built in the fifteenth century and learn about its peculiar history. Wander through the Old Town to Plaza de Medina del Campo, famous for its eventful past and home to the San Martin Church, dating from 1117.
You will also visit the Plaza del Corpus (Corpus Square), which is dominated by the Old Main Synagogue, transformed into a Christian church.
Continue your walking tour of Segovia to the Plaza Mayor, which accommodates some of the town’s most famous buildings, including the breathtaking Cathedral.
Afterwards, cross the Canonjías neighborhood until you come to the Alcazar of Segovia, one of the most spectacular fortresses in all of Spain. After admiring its exterior, you will step inside to discover its legends and past.
