Mt Rainier Day Trip
Mt Rainier Day Trip
Between 7:30 and 8 am we'll pick you up at your hotel in Seattle and head to one of the most beautiful corners of Washington State, Mount Rainier National Park.
Before entering this protected area, we'll stop at a cafeteria for a breakfast that will include coffee, tea, toast and fruit. Then we'll cross the big wooden gate of the National Park, and start the tour with a light trekking route on the slopes of Mount Rainier. Imposing trees, beautiful rivers and springs, plentiful waterfalls and more surprises await us.
The tour will follow on from the Visitor's Center, where we'll be stamped with a special passport that will accredit our visit to Mount Rainier. Next, we'll continue walking until we stop for a delicious picnic. The menu will include chicken or pasta, salad, fruit and local wine - all with the natural scenery of the mountain as a backdrop!
Afterwards, we'll take a walk to various viewpoints to enjoy the views of the meadows and alpine forests of Mount Rainier. If you take the excursion in autumn-winter, we'll admire the snowy landscapes and, if you come in spring-summer, you'll see the native flora in more detail.
The tour will end going back to the main entrance and from taking a minibus to your hotel in Seattle, arriving at 6:15 pm.
