Mount St. Helens Day Trip
At 7:30 am, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Seattle and set off southbound towards Mount St. Helens. Let's explore one of the most beautiful places in Washington State!
Our journey to the Mount St. Helens National Monument will take around 3 hours. On the way there, we'll stop at either the Nisqually National Wildlife Refuge or the Lewis & Clark State Park for breakfast.
Feeling ready for the day, we'll continue on to Mount St. Helens. When we get there, we'll take a short hike so we can explore the area. As we walk along the banks of the Toutle River, we'll observe the incredible scenery around us and its many contrasts, which is due to the volcanic eruption that shook the region in 1980.
Peckish yet? At 1:30 pm, we'll get our energy back with a picnic lunch while taking in the beautiful views of this active stratovolcano. We'll then head to the Johnston Ridge Visitors Centre, the perfect place to take in the immensity of the mighty Mount St. Helens.
We'll then return to your hotel in Seattle, where the day trip will come to an end at 7:30 pm.
