At your chosen time, we'll convene at the agreed meeting point and set off on our minibus to the Selinunte Archaeological Park. The drive there will take around 50 minutes.
Once we've arrived, we'll give you 3 hours of free time to explore the ancient Greek city of Selinunte, which dates back to the 7th century BC.
You'll travel over 2,500 years back in time to discover what life was like in classical antiquity, when this Sicilian territory was part of Magna Graecia. Doric-style temples, walls, ruins of residential and commercial buildings? All this and more awaits during your visit to one of the largest archaeological sites in Italy.
The archaeological park also has lots of excellent information panels so you can learn all about the history of this ancient city, such as the attack it suffered in 409 BC. This battle resulted in the destruction of many of its buildings and claimed 16,000 lives.
As you walk around The Acropolis and come across historic buildings such as the Temple of Hera or the Sanctuary of the Malophoros, you'll admire incredible views of the golden sandy beaches on Sicily's west coastline.
After 5 hours of history, culture and archaeology, we'll head back to the starting point and say our goodbyes.
