Mostar and Medjugorje Trip
We will pick you up from your accommodation, before starting your journey towards the beautiful city of Mostar. Along the way, we will make a stop in Konjic to admire its famous Stone Bridge, built by the Ottomans. There, we will also enjoy a Bosnian coffee, whilst admiring views of the river Neretva, before hitting the road once more.
We will drive through the spectacular Neretva River Valley before arriving in Mostar, a stone city which takes you back to the Middle Ages. We will explore the old town, before stopping to learn about the history of the iconic Old Bridge. We can also visit the Kriva Cuprija arch bridge; visit the Koski Mehmed Pasha Mosque, and stroll through the narrow streets of the historic marketplace, full of fabulous craft shops.
After getting to know Mostar, we will return to Medjugorje. Our second destination has become one of the most visited Catholic pilgrimage sites since the supposed apparition of the Virgin Mary in 1981. We will stroll to the top of the so-called Hill of Apparitions while you hear all the stories and legends which surround it. In addition, we will enter the central Church of St. James.
Finally we will return to Sarajevo, where we will accompany you to your hotel before ending the excursion.
