Sarajevo Food Tour
Food Tour Details
At the designated time, we'll meet in front of the Sarajevo City Hall, also known as Vijécnica. Once we're all ready, we'll start this food tour of Sarajevo. We hope you've come to this tour with an empty stomach!
As we explore the old town, we'll tell you about the Ottoman and Austro-Hungarian legacy of the Bosnian capital. This legacy is directly tied to its cuisine, especially because of some family recipes. As you can see, history and flavors come together!
We'll visit a 500-year-old store, where you'll try a delicious traditional soup enjoyed by Sarajevo's nobility. Afterward, you'll try a stew and a main dish of grilled meat. Enjoy!
Of course, after these savory dishes, we'll delight our taste buds with a sweet dessert. We'll taste a dessert that's been around for 300 years at one of the city's most traditional shops. Our tour wouldn't be complete without a cup of Bosnian coffee and its history.
Finally, we'll digest our meal as we walk toward the Sacred Heart Cathedral, or Sarajevo Cathedral, where we'll say goodbye after a total of 4 hours.
