After picking you up from your hotel in Sarajevo at the scheduled time, we'll head north to Visoko, a small village nestled in the mountain valley of the Dinaric Alps. This remote part of the country is home to one of today's most studied mysteries: the Bosnian pyramids.
Historians and geologists from all over the world still don't know the origins of this group of nine pyramids formed above the valley. Some claim they're the largest human-made ancient pyramids on earth. Others believe they're of natural origin.
During our tour, we'll see the Pyramid of the Sun, the main pyramid, which is larger than the famous Great Pyramid of Giza. We'll also see the Pyramid of the Moon, the Pyramid of the Dragon, the Pyramid of Love and the Pyramid of Mother Earth. We'll learn why they face perfectly north and discover the main theories surrounding this mysterious Bosnian pyramid complex.
After several hours exploring the site, we'll take you back to the hotels in Sarajevo.
