We'll pick you up at the selected time at your hotel and drive through the lush Atlantic Forest to the Serra do Mar Natural Park, a journey of approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes by road.
In less than an hour, we'll reach this immense landscape that stretches along the southern and southeastern coasts of Brazil. Once there, we'll take the famous Old Road of Santos, which runs through the Atlantic forest along the coast.
We'll walk 9 kilometres along these ancient trails that date back to the 18th century and were opened by the Portuguese government as trade routes to link Sao Paulo with the coast. During the hike, of medium difficulty, you'll have an amazing view of the Brazilian coast and you'll be able to enjoy the great biodiversity of the rainforest.
In addition, you'll come across some historical buildings from the time of the formation of the state of Sao Paulo. Here we'll be able to see architectural elements coming from Portugal, such as the decoration with ceramics and tiles.
After enjoying the historical and cultural heritage of the Estrada Velha de Santos, we'll return to Sao Paulo. We'll drop you off at your hotel eight hours after pickup.
