Sao Paulo Museums Private Tour + Ibirapuera Park
At your chosen time, we'll pick you up from your hotel and set off on our tour. We'll explore a mix of culture and nature to delve into a side of Sao Paulo that you perhaps haven't seen before.
Once we're all together, we'll begin with the cultural part of the tour by visiting two of the most outstanding museums in Sao Paulo. We'll start at the Sao Paulo Museum of Art, which is also known as MASP. Did you know that it was the first modern art museum in Brazil?
This iconic building, which was designed by Italian-Brazilian architect Lina Bo Bardi, is home to the largest collection of European art in South America. Over 11,000 works of art are kept here, including paintings, sculptures, photographs and items of clothing.
After visiting the museum, we'll explore Avenida Paulista and admire its modern skyscrapers from the bus as we head to Ibirapuera Park, the green lung of Sao Paulo.
We'll tour the main parts of the park, such as the famous auditorium designed by Oscar Niemeyer - you'll love its avant-garde architecture!
Next, we'll head to the Afro-Brazil Museum, an institution that honours Brazil's Afro roots and sheds light on its darkest moments. We'll see photographs, documents, ceramics and samples of handicrafts from different parts of Africa, Cuba, Haiti and the United States.
Following five hours of history and culture, we'll take you back to your hotel.
