Ibirapuera Park Tour
Itinerary
At 3:30 pm, we'll meet at the entrance of Ibirapuera Park, where we'll start a walking tour to discover the great attractions of the green lung of São Paulo. Off we go!
First, we'll head to the MAC, the Museum of Contemporary Art of the University of São Paulo. Although we won't have access to its interior, we'll enjoy its spectacular viewpoint, where we'll take in a stunning panoramic view of the park.
From here we'll walk to the sculpture garden, where we'll also find the Afro-Brazil Museum. Exploring the rooms of the museum, we'll find a collection of more than 6,000 works that tell the history of slavery and give insight into African culture and its influence on Brazilian society. An unmissable visit!
The next stop of the Ibirapuera Park tour will be the planetarium, a building with a very curious shape. Another place we'll visit is the Manequinho Lopes nursery, where we'll see a large collection of 200 different species of plants - nature in its purest form!
After two hours exploring Ibirapuera Park, we'll return to the starting point where the guided tour will end.
