Sao Paulo Free Tour
At the designated time, we'll meet in front of the Sao Paulo City Theater, from where we'll start this free tour of the most iconic places in the city center.
We'll start the tour with an introduction to the Vale do Anhangabau. Did you know that this indigenous name means "river of the evil spirit"? This area of the city is famous for being a great location for theatrical performances, political demonstrations, shows, or filming of movies and soap operas.
The tour will continue through the Viaduto do Cha and the Ramos de Azevedo square. During the tour, we'll visit the Martinelli building, one of the landmarks of this metropolis and the very first skyscraper in Sao Paulo. Afterward, we'll visit the Santander Lighthouse, where we'll enjoy the best views of the city.
Our next stop will be Rua 15 de Novembro and the Centro Cultural Banco do Brasil, a center dedicated to different art forms. In order to learn more about the city's origins, we'll then go to Casa da Imagem, which houses thousands of photographs of the city.
The final destination on the tour will be the iconic Pateo do Collegio, considered the birthplace of Sao Paulo. Finally, after a total of two and a half hours, we'll finish the free tour of Sao Paulo back at the starting point.
