Do you want to explore the historical centre of Sao Paulo by bike? Or what about the beautiful Ibirapuera Park? Now's your chance!

Description

When booking the bike tour in Sao Paulo, you can choose between two different itineraries. The routes have a duration of 3 hours and a distance of between 15 and 20 kilometers with several stops to rest and take pictures.

Graffiti & Ibirapuera Park Bike Tour

Do you like greenery and graffiti? You'll love this tour! We'll visit Ibirapuera Park, the green lung of Sao Paulo, and explore the Bohemian neighbourhood of Vila Madalena. To begin, we'll explore this neighbourhood, which is full of fascinating graffiti art left by Sao Paulo's best street artists.

We'll pedal to Largo da Batata (Potato Square), the central area of the Pinheiros district. After admiring the murals in this area, we'll cycle along the Avenida Faria Lima, an important business centre with numerous iconic buildings. We'll then come to Ibirapuera Park, a beautiful green area where we'll be able to spot famous buildings designed by Oscar Niemeyer.

It'll then be time to cross the Jardins neighbourhood and Batman's Alley, an open-air street art gallery, as we return to the starting point.

Downtown Bike Tour

If you'd prefer a more cultural option, on the downtown bike tour you'll discover the historical centre of the city. Our tour will begin at Largo do Arouche and then head towards Bom Retiro, one of the most important commercial districts of the city. From here, we'll continue cycling and admire the famous train station, the Pinacoteca Building and Sao Paulo's first public park.

Our next stop will be at the Municipal Market, which will be the perfect place to refuel with a snack from one of the stalls. We'll then cross the Anhangabaú Valley until we get to the old town. When we get there, we'll see the Liberdade and then visit Roosevelt Square. Afterwards, we'll cycle across Minhocão and return to the starting point.

Meeting points

The meeting point varies depending on the tour chosen:

  • Graffiti & Ibirapuera Park Bike Tour: We'll meet in Selina Madalena, at number 237 on Rua Aspicuelta.
