Discover one of the most important cultural centers of the city of São Paulo on this guided tour along Avenida Paulista. A route full of curious facts & buildings with great stories.
Avenida Paulista Tour
At the designated time, we'll meet in front of the Moreira Salles Institute of São Paulo. From there, we'll start a guided tour along Avenida Paulista, during which we'll walk for four hours along this unique cultural boulevard.
We'll pass by the São Paulo Museum of Art, one of the main modern works of the city. We'll also walk through Trianon Park, which opened in 1982 and was designed by Paul Villon. Despite the abundance of tropical vegetation, this park has the absolute air of an English garden.
Afterward, we'll stop at the Feira Gastronômica, where you'll have free time for an aperitif. Here you can find traditional Brazilian food and even Japanese food! Next, we'll visit the Itaú Cultural Institute to see its engravings, paintings, drawings, and maps, which tell the history of Brazil since the arrival of the colonists.
We'll also visit Casa das Rosas, which houses Brazil's first library specializing in literature. Can you imagine where its name comes from? Surely the garden will give you a clue!
Finally, after a total of around 4 hours, we'll end our visit at Praça da Liberdade.
