Get ready for adventure on this rafting activity on the das Brancas River as we contend with a stretch that boasts the longest rapids in Brazil!
Description
We'll meet at 9 am at the entrance of Parque do Capetinga farm, located on the outskirts of the municipality of São João d'Aliança in the state of Goiás. From there, we'll hop in a 4x4 and head to the Das Brancas River, which is about 6 km (3.7 miles) away.
When we reach the area around the riverside, we'll equip ourselves with the necessary safety equipment and go through important safety information. Once we're set to go, we'll begin our rafting adventure on the Das Brancas River.
As part of this activity, we'll cover a total of 9 km (5.5 mi) and cross-class III and IV rapids, depending on the river flow. After a little while, we'll approach the section with the longest rapids in Brazil. In this area, the rocky walls narrow, and the rafting gets even more fun!
At the end of the rafting route, the driver of the 4x4 will be waiting for us to bring us back to the farm. Here we'll try to spot some of the animals native to the area such as wolves, coatis, anteaters, and even pumas!
From the farm, we'll finally return to the meeting point in São João d'Aliança, where we'll arrive at 1 pm.
