Sao Paulo Private Shore Excursion
At 8:30 am, we'll meet at the cruise port in Santos, where we'll board a vehicle to head for São Paulo. After a 1.5-hour drive, we'll arrive in the centre of the Brazilian city.
Once at our destination, we'll explore São Paulo for 4 hours. The first stop will be at the Museum of Contemporary Art of São Paulo, where we'll go up to its panoramic terrace, one of the best views of the city!
Next, we'll head along the emblematic Avenida 23 de Mayo towards Liberdade, São Paulo's Japanese quarter. Did you know it's the largest Japanese community outside of Japan?
Then we'll see the famous Sé Cathedral, the fourth-largest Gothic temple in the world. The visit will continue with a pleasant walk in front of the São Bento Monastery, the Martinelli and the Altino Arantes, the latter of which will remind you of the Empire State Building in New York! We'll also visit the Viaducto do Chá, the Municipal Theatre and the City Hall.
The tour will continue to the Municipal Market, where we'll discover the most typical products of the country. The next stop will be Paulista Avenue, the nerve centre of the city, and the popular Beco de Batman, a corner full of colourful street art located in the bohemian neighbourhood of Vila Madalena.
Finally, we'll take you back to the port of departure in Santos arriving at 4:30 pm.
