Join our private boat excursion to dreamy Saona Island and make your way to a paradise in the Dominican Republic that will leave you enchanted forever!
Description
The day begins as we pick you up from your hotel in Santo Domingo, and then we're off towards the Bayahibe Dock to reach our island paradise.
Once at the dock, we'll embark on the boat voyage that'll carry us to Saona Island, a paradisiacal gem along the Dominican coast, boasting captivating landscapes from start to finish.
Upon reaching the island within the Eastern National Park, we'll make our first 45-minute stop at El Toro Beach. Here, you can snorkel or enjoy a refreshing swim in the crystal-clear waters of the Caribbean Sea in this enchanting cove.
We then sail to Mano Juan, a quaint village on the southern tip of Saona Island. Here, you can enjoy a leisurely lunch at your own pace, with the village's renowned lobster stands as a popular choice. Additionally, Mano Juan boasts an excellent turtle sanctuary worth exploring.
Leaving Mano Juan behind, we'll cruise along the coast of Saona Island through the Catuano Channel. This remarkable natural area is characterized by mangrove swamps, offering glimpses of turtles and even small Caribbean sharks.
Our final destination will be a set of natural pools off the coast of Saona Island, where you'll have 45 minutes to enjoy another refreshing swim. Following this delightful experience, we'll sail back to the Bayahibe dock, concluding our unforgettable journey.
As we dock and exit the boat, we'll return to your hotel in Santo Domingo, about 11 hours after pickup.
