Tour Description
At the indicated time, we'll meet at the fishermen's pier located on Paseo del Rio Avenue. From this meeting point, we'll start this guided tour of Gualey where we'll visit some of Santo Domingo's most picturesque neighbourhoods.
First, we'll visit a market, where you'll be able to observe the energy of the vendors and shoppers in their daily routine. Next, we'll pass by local shops and soak up the neighbourhood tradition by enjoying an authentic Dominican breakfast. Fancy trying something new?
Next, we'll explore a typical Dominican house and have a delicious ice cream. We'll also see the welcome sign of Gualey, an iconic spot where you can meet locals and learn more about their history and culture—you'll be amazed by the warmth and hospitality of the locals!
The tour will continue with a trip on the Santo Domingo cable car, which offers spectacular views of its colourful neighbourhoods from above. From the National District to the north of Santo Domingo, you'll be able to appreciate the urban landscape and learn about the history of these emblematic places.
Finally, we'll round off the experience with a drink just before concluding our 4-hour tour at the meeting point.
