Santillana del Mar Zoo Ticket
Since its first opening in 1977, the Santillana del Mar Zoo has become a key attraction in this Cantabrian town, especially for families. Due to its great diversity of animals and its efforts to preserve endangered species, it's a must-see spot for sure.
With the entrance to the Santillana del Mar Zoo, you'll be able to see animals from the five continents. From the wildest to the most docile, they are all waiting for you. Also, in the Quaternary Park, you'll be able to discover the fauna that inhabited these lands in the times of the man of Altamira.
During the visit, you'll see more than 20 species of primates, tigers, lions, panthers, butterflies, flamingos, pelicans, bats, and many other animals. Not to mention the sheep, chickens, donkeys, and ponies that await you at the Santillana del Mar Zoo farm.
While the visit usually lasts two and a half hours, you can stay on the zoo grounds as long as you like during its opening hours. Also, if you want, you can grab a bite to eat in the cafeteria or in the picnic areas.
