At the scheduled time we'll pick you up from your hotel in Santiago de Querétaro. From there, we'll leave the city behind and make our way towards one of the most amazing natural treasures in Hidalgo state: the Tolantongo Grottos.
Have you heard anything about the Tolantongo Grottos? This hidden oasis between majestic mountains is famous for its impressive waterfall, at the base of which is a grotto and a cave. It's also known for its thermal waters which are an intense turquoise blue colour (unless it's rained a lot recently), that are created as a result of calcium and magnesium in the surrounding rocks. You'll hear many other interesting facts about this area over the course of the tour!
This river flows along a long stretch, which forms natural pools where you can enjoy a relaxing dip. These formations aren't that far away either, you can get to them in about 25 minutes on foot.
Once we've arrived at this magnificent location, you'll have some free to enjoy the facilities. You can have some fun on the pool's slides, cross the suspension bridge or explore the mysterious grotto. Fun has no limits here!
The Tolantongo Grotto's enclosure has various restaurants, a relaxation area, baths and showers.
Finally, after 14 hours, we'll say farewell to this unique Mexican paradise, as we make our journey back to Santiago de Querétaro.
