Querétaro Wine & Cheese Tour
Querétaro Wine & Cheese Tour
At the indicated time, we'll meet in the centre of Santiago de Querértaro and, from there, we'll travel to a vineyard to learn about the stages of winemaking.
We'll first visit the Viña TX vineyard, where you'll be able to taste a variety of regional cheeses accompanied by a glass of exquisite Queretaro wine. We'll accompany you through the vineyard so that you can fully enjoy this sensory experience.
The next stop on the tour will be at Freixenet de México, where you'll learn about the entire winemaking process, from the harvest to the final product, inside the cellars located 25 metres (82 feet) underground. You'll taste the house wine and receive a gift glass as a souvenir.
Afterwards, we'll drive to the Magic Town of San Sebastián de Bernal, which stands out for its great gastronomic tradition. Here, you'll enjoy 2 hours of free time to have lunch, explore the picturesque village and contemplate the third-largest monolith in the world known as the Peña de Bernal.
After refuelling, we'll approach the town of Tequisquiapan, where you'll also have 2 hours of free time to stroll around the town, visit its craft markets, explore its main square, see its aqueduct and taste the delicious local cheese bread.
Finally, we'll return to Santiago de Querétaro and finish the tour by dropping you back at the meeting point, where we'll conclude this 9-hour activity.
